When you check the TCPA consent box on the offer form, you're telling True Path Home Buyers it's okay to call or text you about the property you entered, even if we use an automated dialer or a prerecorded message to do it.

The specifics (the six PEWC elements)

  1. Who's contacting you. True Path Home Buyers — the same company whose offer form you submitted.
  2. How they might contact you. Phone calls and text messages. Those calls may be placed using an automatic telephone dialing system (ATDS), and voicemails may be delivered as prerecorded messages.
  3. Which phone number. The phone number you entered on the offer form.
  4. What the calls are about. Your property and the offer we're preparing.
  5. Message / data rates. Your carrier may charge for text messages or for data used during a call. Those are your carrier's fees, not ours.
  6. This is not a condition of any sale. Checking the TCPA box is optional. If you don't check it, we still process your offer request — we just won't call or text you about it using automated systems. You can still reach us by phone at (888) 309-7290 or email at hello@truepathhomebuyers.com.

How to opt out

How we keep a record

When you submit the form, we store a record including the date and time you checked the consent box, the IP address you submitted from, the browser information your device sent, and a version-hash of the exact consent text you saw. We keep this record for five years so we can verify your consent if it's ever disputed.

You can revoke TCPA consent at any time and through any reasonable channel. Revocation applies going forward; it doesn't retroactively affect calls already placed.

The exact checkbox text

For reference, the sentence next to the TCPA consent checkbox on the offer form reads:

By checking this box, I consent to receive calls and text messages from True Path Home Buyers (including pre-recorded or auto-dialed) about my property at the phone number I provided. Message/data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of any sale. Reply STOP to opt out. [See full TCPA disclosure]

That sentence is what we hash and store alongside your consent record. If the sentence ever changes, the hash changes with it — that's how we track consent by version.
